The Grand Temple of Virginia is the state level organization of the Pythian Sisters., an Independent Auxiliary of Knights Of Pythias The Grand Temple cooperates with the Grand Lodge of VA, the state level organization of the Knights of Pythias

It convenes once a year, Usually in the second or first or second week of October in conjunction with the Grand Lodge. To be a member of the Grand Temple of Virginia, a woman must have earned the rank of Past Chief in a Subordinate (local) Temple There are currently six Subordinate Temples in Virginia. Election of officers is held annually. The Grand Chief is the highest executive officer in the state.
